DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN SEWING MACHINE? +
No. All materials and equipment are provided. If you'd like to bring your own machine so you can get comfortable using it, you're welcome to.
DO I NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE TO JOIN? +
Nope. Beginner Sewing is designed for true beginners. We'll teach you step-by-step and provide everything you need to get started.
WHAT DO WE MAKE IN THE WORKSHOP? +
In Beginner Sewing, you'll make a basic pillow while learning foundational sewing-machine skills including threading, machine control, straight stitching and completing a project from start to finish.
HOW LONG ARE WORKSHOPS? +
Beginner Sewing is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours long.
Available class dates and times can be viewed through the booking schedule.
WHAT IS THE AGE REQUIREMENT? +
Our workshops are for participants 18 and older. Guests under 18 must attend with an accompanying adult, and both individuals are required to purchase their own seat.
HOW DO I BOOK A WORKSHOP? +

CAN I VIEW THE CLASS SCHEDULE BEFORE BUYING A BUNDLE? +
Yes! You can view the available schedule for each workshop before purchasing your bundle.

You do not have to purchase the individual workshop just to view its schedule.

WHAT SHOULD I TAKE AFTER BEGINNER SEWING? +
Once you've completed Beginner Sewing, you can continue with Master Your Machine to build stronger machine skills, Tailor Your Threads I to learn alterations, or Make Your Own Clothes I: Pants to start making garments.
You can also bundle Beginner Sewing with one of these workshops to save on both classes.
