DO I NEED SEWING EXPERIENCE? +

Master Your Machine is designed for someone who already understands basic sewing-machine operation.

We recommend completing Beginner Sewing first or having equivalent sewing-machine experience.

WHAT WILL I LEARN? +

You'll go beyond basic machine operation and learn stitch settings, presser feet, zippers, buttonholes, machine-made buttons, finishing techniques and troubleshooting.

WHAT WILL I MAKE? +

You'll put your new skills into practice by completing a zippered pillow cover or button pouch.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN SEWING MACHINE? +

No. Sewing machines are provided.

You're welcome to bring your own machine if you'd prefer to learn on the machine you'll use at home.

IS EVERYTHING PROVIDED? +

Yes. Sewing machines, fabric, thread, tools and supplies needed for the workshop are provided.

Once you're comfortable using more of your machine's features, you can continue into our intermediate workshops, including Tailor Your Threads or Make Your Own Clothes.

We are appointment-only and do not allow drop-ins. Free parking is available.

WHAT IS THE AGE REQUIREMENT? +

Our workshops are for participants 18 and older. Guests under 18 must attend with an accompanying adult, and both individuals are required to purchase their own seat.
