Tailor Your Threads I focuses on everyday alteration foundations such as hemming, shortening, taking garments in, pinning, marking and basic fit adjustments.
Tailor Your Threads II moves into more advanced alterations including denim, waistbands, darts, sleeves, existing zippers and more complicated garment reshaping.
Not necessarily.
Tailor I requires you to already be comfortable operating a sewing machine independently. If you already have those skills, you do not need to take Moxie Beginner Sewing first.
If you are still learning how to thread and operate a machine, start with Beginner Sewing.
Tailor II is designed for people who already understand basic alterations.
You can take Tailor II without taking Moxie Tailor I if you already have equivalent alteration experience.
Bring 2–3 garments from your own closet that you would like to alter or improve the fit of.
Tailor Your Threads I is $80.
Tailor Your Threads II is $80.
Bundle options are also available if you want to build through multiple levels and save.

Our workshops are for participants 18 and older. Guests under 18 must attend with an accompanying adult, and both individuals are required to purchase their own seat.
